Connections Music Camp

Students will sing, learn solfege, music theory and dance, play instruments and integrate other disciplines such as history and science. They will also learn about the style, music, traditions and instruments of American Folk music and music of other cultures such as Africa and Mexico. The choral camp will feature 12 songs that represent holidays, cultures, folk music and events of each month of the year. The camp will end with a concert of the music and integrated activities performed by the camp choir, The Spirit Singers.

Campers will have the opportunity to audition that week to be a part of the Winston-Salem Youth Chorus for the upcoming season. (Season begins August 28, 2017.)

Connections Music Camp will be held August 14-18 from 9am-2pm at Grace Baptist Church (3305 Peters Creek Parkway). Cost per singer for the week is $225. Registration and information can be found on the link below.
